About Harbour Park Capital Partners

HPCPL is an Exempt Market Dealer (EMD) that focuses on mortgage trusts.

Our flagship product is the Tri City Group Monthly Income Mortgage Trust (TCGMIMT), a mortgage trust that has been returning consistently since 2015. It is managed by Tri City Fund Management, which has funded more than $1 billion in mortgages since 2010, and currently manages more than $85 million of mortgage capital from over 400 unique investors that range from individuals to institutions.

HPCPL is the sole distributor of Tri City’s investment products.

    Jim Wall

    Chief Compliance Officer

    Mr. Wall has over 30 years of experience in corporate finance, executive management, operations, and cost accounting. He has served as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer in the public markets, focused on venture capital and business development equity, and has advised numerous private and public companies as an equity and compliance consultant. He holds a Commerce degree and a degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia, along with a CMA designation in cost accounting. Throughout much of his professional career, he has also performed as a professional drummer.

    Omar Lalani

    Ultimate Designated Person

    Mr. Lalani has been working in the real estate development industry since 2002. After he obtaining his undergraduate degree in engineering from McGill University, he went on to obtain his master of engineering degree from McMaster in 2007, He has been a member of the Harbour Park management team since 2017. Mr. Lalani is also a registered mortgage broker and highly experienced in renovating income producing real estate. Omar has been working with the Tri City Group for over 11 years.

    Sandy Oh

    Head of Institutional Sales

    Mr. Oh brings over 25 years of business experience in private and public companies to Harbour Park. This includes start-up firms, working with investment banks, and developing private businesses for public offerings on the TSX Venture Exchange. Mr. Oh is also President of Tri City Fund Management Ltd which manages the Tri City Monthly Income Mortgage Trust, and is in charge of securing the flow of mortgage which are funded by the trusts. He has been with Tri City for over 11 years and he and his family are heavily invested in the trusts at the same level as incoming capital.

  • Teresa Bustos

    Head of Sales and Dealing Representative

    Ms. Bustos joined HPCPL two years ago following a successful career as a senior sales and marketing representative in insurance and other life products. She plays an integral role in investment compliance and investor suitability for the dealership and also serves as a senior administrator for the organization’s trusts. In addition, Ms. Bustos contributes to business development initiatives for TCG. She studied business at university in Paris.

    Vicky Guo

    Dealer Representative

    Ms. Guo has been a dealer rep and a mortgage broker for several years in the Vancouver area. She excels in finance and both finding lending and investing solutions for many long-standing clients at TCG. Vickey was born in Shanghai and speaks Mandarin in addition to English. Vicky also serves as the DI, a Director, and a mortgage broker for the real estate division of the Tri City Group.
